Preview of Poker Copilot 2.21 Ready to Download

Poker Copilot 2.21 is now available to download.

Caveat: There's a lot of new things in this release. Which means there is a lot of potential for problems. If you try 2.21 and something goes wrong, you can easily replace it with the current release version.

What's changed:

  • There's a poker room filter
  • There's a hand type filter
  • There's an advanced statistic filter
  • There's now a bar below the toolbar that shows your current filter selection
  • There's a reset button to make it easy to clear complicated filters
  • Hand Summary, Player Summary, Position Summary, and Stake Level Summary now have a "Get Info" option when you right-click or ctrl-click.
  • Double clicking on any item in the Tournament Summary, Hand Summary, Player Summary, Position Summary, and Stake Level Summary shows you a detailed list of hands for that item.
  • The Hand Replayer works with all the new detailed list of hands.
  • There's a new "Auto-refresh" option in the View menu which you can turn off for improved HUD performance

What's fixed:
  • Run It Twice hands now show correct winnings
  • Handling of uncalled big blind in OnGame Network hands
  • Results for Full Tilt tournaments with some odd results caused by late entries have been fixed
  • UltimateBet support now works with the newly-named app: UB
  • Detection of play money tournaments and ring games in Full Tilt (they changed their hand histories. Again.)

What's coming next:

Good question! For the first time in many months, I don't have a clear road map of what improvements I intend to do next. So this is a good time to vote up your favourite suggestion.

Update Instructions:
  1. Download version 2.21 here.
  2. Open the downloaded file.
  3. Drag the Poker Copilot icon to the Applications icon.
  4. If prompted to replace an existing version, confirm that you do want to replace.
Now you're done and ready to hit the tables.

I have a slight problem.
When I click on the "more" button and then release. the drop down wont stay open. It just keeps closing. And when I click and hold and try to select something it wont let me. It just stays selected at "poker room"

PS: Looks like apple software update has a new java release. ( I have not installed it yet )

It still isn't getting much love on the support site, but I am going to say again that I feel like HUD filtering by stake level is a critical feature. Right now I have two unacceptable options-- only seeing my stats from the current session, or only seeing all my stats which definitely isn't right.

I'm not sure if I'm seeing Limit stats, or NL tournament stats, but when I first sat at a NL cash table Poker Copilot had a fairly big set of stats for me already-- when I had 0 NL cash hands in the database. Those definitely need to be separated.

what ever filter settings you have in the global section are reflected in the HUD. ie: your feature is all ready there.

I also have the same problem with the "more" button. It will not allow me to select a secondary menu.

I am on Intel OSX 10.4.11 with the latest Java update.

"what ever filter settings you have in the global section are reflected in the HUD. ie: your feature is all ready there."

I'm not sure that's the case:

Steve's response here seems to say that the global filtering is not reflected in the HUD stats -- http://community.pokercopilot.com/pokercopilot/topics/filter_villains_hud_stats_by_table_size_and_stake_level

Stake level, and table size where already included as global filters and again, seems as though steve was saying they did not change HUD settings. HUD filters for table size, and "all" or "this table only" stats.

Is that right Steve?

And even the table size filter is automatic rather than tied to the users global filter setting.

If you're on a 6max table, and the global table size filter is set to 10 seat, the HUD ignores that filter and shows only the 6max stats.

So deffinitely not sure that the HUD stats adjest for global filtering.

Since that link doesn't seem to want to take, lol here's Steve's response last month:

"The HUD automatically filters by table size. It never includes games from 6 max tables when you are playing on a 9-max table, for example. I could add auto stake level filtering too. Rather than make it an option I'd like to make it on for everybody or off for everybody."

Voting? Really? As a substitute for an expert knowledge base? I vote for having the software to play the national anthem every time I win a pot.

same problem here with the "more" button/menu.

I say let JoeTall pick the next 20 features after he's had a chance to use it a little. I'm not kidding. That's my vote.

I'm having the same issue. I have installed the new Java release.

Control click and you can select from the "more" options. Hopefully this will get fixed though.

Vote for the "Hand Rage" feature so we can get a Stove for Mac

Filtering the HUD based on the current filters in the main program wouldn't be a good solution-- what if you're playing two different games at the same time? Your HUD stats would only be useful for one. Plus, that doesn't solve the issue of villain HUD stats.

I think that's really the only issue I have with the software these days... seems to be working great. More features are always good but I don't have any complaints other than that one :)
