Another Experimental Poker Copilot Release

Yesterday's experimental Poker Copilot update had a problem: it crashed if you had the "Mucked Cards" window open. I've now rectified this.

This release needs to blow away your Poker Copilot database and load your hand history files again.

Update Instructions:

1. Download Update 2.27.

2. Open the downloaded file.

3. Drag the Poker Copilot icon to the Applications icon. If prompted to replace an existing version, confirm that you do want to replace.

Now you're done and ready to hit the tables.

This update does't work to for me. This time it's not able to read my hand history at all. So all my stats are blank.

It doesn't recognize the file for some reason? I mailed steve the picture of the error.

Anyone doens't have problems. Or knows the solution to my problem? I seem to have it a lot when I download files from PCP.

@David

This is not an update, it's a Beta Test release candidate. If you don't want to deal with issues like you're having, just wait until the next stable release comes out before installing a new version.

@Randy

I don't have these problems any more because I don't download Beta Test versions of this software. I just want to play poker, not test unstable software.

Just make sure not to copy the beta release over to your applications folder and just drag it to the desktop, for instance. This way you are able to launch and test out the beta release and if you happen to run into any problems your stable release of PC will be where it always was, in my case, right on the dock.

@ KeithX

I know what it is and I just gave Steve some feedback about my problems with it. If you don't want to read anything like this, don't read the blog and it's comments there.

Hi all,

Thanks for the comments. Thanks for the emails I got about this release too.

It seems tournaments are not getting read in on some computers. I believe I now have it fixed, but as I'm unable to reproduce this problem here in the lab, I can't be certain.

Here's an update with the fix:
