Preview of Poker Copilot 2.19 Ready to Download

Poker Copilot 2.19 is now available to download.

I've spent a lot of time hunting down remaining performance hot-spots. It's tempting fate to say so, but I feel very positive about this release's stability and performance. Feedback is welcome. If no major issues surface I'll make this an official release.

What's changed:

  • The "Mucked Cards Window" now stays hidden between Poker Copilot sessions.
  • Fledgling UltimateBet support. It's ring games only at the moment, due to an UltimateBet hand history problem in tournaments.
  • When you select extra columns to show in the Hands summary, Players summary, Stake Level summary, and Position summary, they stay shown between Poker Copilot sessions.
  • The Advanced Dashboard for Tournaments shows "In the Money %"

What's fixed:
  • Calculating the take for Ongame Network uncalled bets
  • Better handling of PokerStars tournament summaries for freerolls and play money tournament.
  • Performance and stability improvements.

Update Instructions:
  1. Download version 2.19 here.
  2. Open the downloaded file.
  3. Drag the Poker Copilot icon to the Applications icon.
  4. If prompted to replace an existing version, confirm that you do want to replace.
Now you're done and ready to hit the tables.

If it's handling tournament summaries differently, do we need to recreate the database?

@Lord Bodak,

No, you don't need to recreate the database.

im having trouble getting the HUD to display onscreen in pokerstars. when i went to turn it off and then turn it back it, poker copilot shut down.

The HUD is not showing in 2.19.
In HUD diagnostics it shows the table but says: frontmost=false, obscured=true and the table IS the frontmost window!

This is at PokerStars SnG and play money tables.

**Sigh**

Ahhh I see, by removing the dropdown tab to add any columns they will indeed always stay the same lol. Nicely played.

And the HUD thing. 2.17 is still super stable for me though so no worries til you get it all sorted out.

Hud is not working in 2.18 and 2.19

I am dying to use the table vpip but i cant get the hud to work in the mentioned versions.

@Anonymous whose HUD is not working:

What Mac are you running? I've tested this on Tiger, Leopard, and Snow Leopard, but only on Intel. Perhaps your Mac is PPC, and if so, that might be where I need to investigate.

The dropdown has moved to the column headers, just like in iTunes. I'll also be adding it to the menus.

Yes, this on PPC machine running Leopard.

The HUD in 2.18 and 2.19 doesn't work perfectly for my intel 10.4 machine either. It will ocassionally stop displaying when I am moved to a new tourny table, but still work for my other running tables. Quitting and restarting PCP has been my fix for now, but I might just revert to 2.17 again as it works very well.

yeah, the hud isn't working for me in 2.19 on ppc tiger.

No HUD on 2.19 for me either. PPC running 10.4.11. 2.18 seems to be working ok though.

One last comment... I saw earlier a commenter on another post (maybe the 2.18 announcement) someone had the symptoms where Poker Copilot just stopped importing hands. 2.18 is doing that for me as well. Reverting to 2.17 until your Mac Mini arrives!

Would definitely be better in some sort of dropdown. Needing to contol+mouse click, makes it awfully hard to even realize the option is there. Or a box that pops up when you scroll over a column headr telling you how to add columns.
