Sometimes I get support e-mails from people saying that Poker Copilot doesn't detect Full Tilt Poker, although it is installed. This was mysterious to me. I've never been able to replicate this problem. Until now. Like a cartoon light-bulb blinking into existence over my head, the answer came from nowhere:
There are two Full Tilt Poker clients.
There's the real money client, called "Full Tilt Poker". And there's the play money client, called "FullTiltPoker.Net". Poker Copilot only knows about the real money client.
Now having identifiied the source of the problem, I can start concocting a solution.

Isn't that such a GREAT feeling?
I'm glad you got the lightbulb moment :)
It always surprises me how some companies come up with the worst possible, most confusing product nomanclature.
Wordpress do this too - Wordpress.com (hosted) and Wordpress.org (self-hosted).
Cheers,
Mike
That's interesting, cause I'm about 99% sure I have the regular client installed, but Poker Copilot didn't find it. How do you know which Full Tilt client is installed?
Lord Bodak,
If, in your Applications folder, you have a file called "Full Tilt Poker", it's the real money client. If it's called "FullTiltPoker.Net" it's the play money client.
If you keep it somewhere other than in the Applications folder, Poker Copilot won't find it and you have to manually add the hand history folders to Poker Copilot.
Regards,
Steve
